This policy describes the native beta being tested now. Planned AI sorting, hosted processing, and subscriptions are not active features of the current build.
1. Who operates DispatchWright
DispatchWright is developed and published by ProofWright AI LLC, referred to here as “ProofWright,” “we,” or “us.” Questions and privacy requests can be sent to david@proofwright.ai.
2. Information the current app accesses
- Google account identity: your name, email address, and basic profile information used to identify the connected account.
- Gmail content and metadata: messages, threads, recipients, labels, drafts, attachment information, and related Gmail data needed to display and operate the inbox.
- Content you create: drafts, replies, forwarded messages, signatures, and attachments you choose.
- App preferences: settings such as presentation and behavior preferences. A limited set may sync through your personal iCloud account.
- Local operational data: cached messages, attachments, queued actions, and account state needed for reliability and previously loaded offline content.
3. How the current app uses this information
DispatchWright uses Google account data only to provide the email features the user requests, including reading, searching, composing, sending, labeling, archiving, marking read or unread, starring, and moving messages to trash.
Gmail remains the authoritative source for mail. DispatchWright does not operate a separate mailbox or ask for your Google password.
4. Where current app data is stored
- Messages, Gmail drafts, labels, and mailbox state remain in the connected Gmail account.
- Apple Keychain
- OAuth credentials are stored securely on the device.
- On-device storage
- A SwiftData cache stores app state and previously loaded content. CloudKit is not used for mail or OAuth credentials.
- iCloud preferences
- A limited set of preferences may sync through the user’s own iCloud account. Email content and Google access tokens are not synced this way.
5. Sharing, third parties, and sale of data
We do not sell Gmail data or use it for advertising. The current native beta exchanges Gmail data with Google to perform user-requested email actions and uses Apple platform services for secure credential storage and limited preference sync.
The current build does not send customer Gmail content to a commercial AI sorting service.
6. Google API Services User Data Policy
DispatchWright’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Retention, account removal, and deletion
Removing a Gmail account from DispatchWright clears that account’s OAuth credentials, local drafts, queued actions, cached attachments, and local account record from that device. It does not delete messages from Gmail, revoke access on another device, or delete content held by Google.
You can separately revoke DispatchWright’s Google access from your Google Account connections. Uninstalling the app removes its local container according to the operating system’s normal behavior.
Retention and deletion details still being resolved
- The automatic eviction period for the on-device message and attachment cache.
- The exact retention and deletion behavior for preferences already synced through a user’s iCloud account.
- Whether and for how long local app data may remain in operating-system device backups.
- Commercial hosted-service retention windows, deletion workflows, and backup deletion timing.
These details will be set and documented before a public commercial service that depends on them is launched.
8. Planned AI features are not active
ProofWright is evaluating optional AI-assisted sorting and personalization. Those features are not part of the current public product claim and are not active in the current private beta.
An owner-only development prototype has used an OpenAI model with API storage disabled where supported. That development setting is not a promise of zero provider retention and does not establish the provider, subprocessors, model-training terms, or retention terms for a future commercial feature.
Before any customer Gmail content is sent to an AI provider, the feature will require explicit opt-in and this policy will identify the provider, data sent, purpose, retention, deletion, and applicable user controls.
9. Website analytics are separate
The public ProofWright website uses Google Analytics for traffic measurement. Google Ads, the Meta pixel, and Microsoft Clarity may also run when their site configuration is enabled. Those website tools are separate from DispatchWright’s native email processing and do not receive Gmail content from the app. See the ProofWright website privacy policy for the site’s tracking disclosures.
10. Security, children, and changes
We use platform security controls including Google OAuth and Apple Keychain. No system is completely secure.
DispatchWright is a business and productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app.
Material changes to this policy will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date before they apply to expanded product functionality.
