ProofWright

Privacy Policy

Effective August 12, 2026

Who we are

ProofWright (“ProofWright,” “we,” “us”) is an AI consulting practice operated from Florida, United States, reachable at david@proofwright.ai. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to proofwright.ai and to the ways we interact with you on Instagram.

Information we collect

  • Email address— when you subscribe to our “Field Notes” newsletter or request a resource, so we can send you the material and future issues.
  • Contact details you provide — such as your name and message when you submit a form or reach out about a project.
  • Instagram interaction data — when you comment on one of our Instagram posts or send us a direct message, the Instagram API provides us your Instagram username/ID, the text of your comment or message, and the associated post. We use this solely to respond to you (for example, sending a private reply with the resource you asked for).
  • Usage data, and how it is collected — this site runs four third-party tools: Google Analytics and Google Ads (traffic and campaign measurement), the Meta pixel (ad measurement), and Microsoft Clarity, which records and replays browsing sessions — mouse movement, scrolling and clicks — so I can see where the page confuses people. These use cookies and similar storage. Clarity masks text input by default; I do not use any of it to identify you personally, and I do not sell or share it. You can block all four with any standard browser tracker blocker, and the site works normally if you do.

How we use your information

  • To send the Field Notes newsletter and any resource you requested.
  • To respond to comments, direct messages, and inquiries.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Instagram data for any purpose other than responding to you and delivering what you asked for.

Meta / Instagram platform data

We access data through the Instagram Graph API under Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We request only the permissions needed to read comments on our own posts and to send private replies and messages in response (instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_manage_comments, instagram_business_manage_messages). Instagram/Meta data is used only to reply to you, is never sold or shared for advertising, and is retained only as long as needed for that purpose.

Service providers

We share information only with vendors that help us operate, each bound to protect it:
  • Meta Platforms — Instagram messaging and comments.
  • Resend — sending email.
  • Supabase — secure database storage.
  • Vercel — website hosting.

Data retention & your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email or by replying “STOP.” You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information — including any Instagram data we hold — by emailing david@proofwright.ai. We will act on verified requests promptly and delete data we no longer need.

Children

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
