ProofWright
Terms of Service
Effective August 27, 2026
Who we are
ProofWright is the brand of
Proofwright AI LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“ProofWright,” “we,” “us”), reachable at
david@proofwright.ai. By using
proofwright.ai, submitting a form, booking a meeting, or receiving our emails or text messages, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or opt in to our messages.
What these terms cover
These terms govern this website and the ways we communicate with you — email, text message, and scheduled meetings. Paid work is governed by a separate written proposal or statement of work signed by both parties. Where a signed proposal and these terms conflict, the signed proposal controls for that engagement.
Engagements, fees, and payment
- Scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees are set out in the written proposal for each engagement. Nothing on this website is an offer or a fixed quote.
- Invoices are due on the terms stated in the proposal. Work may be paused on overdue invoices.
- Either party may end an engagement in writing. You pay for work performed through the end date; we hand over what has been produced and paid for.
Text messaging (SMS)
We send text messages only to people who have given us their mobile number and agreed to receive texts by checking an opt-in box on one of our web or booking forms. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us. There are two kinds of texts, and each has its own, separate opt-in — consenting to one does not consent you to the other.
Informational texts (their own opt-in):
- Meeting confirmations and reminders — when you book a call or a working session with us.
- Support updates — for clients, when the status of a support ticket changes or our team replies to one.
Marketing texts (a separate, explicit opt-in):
- Follow-up on an inquiry — when you ask for more information about our services through our website or an ad.
- Occasional offers about our services.
Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also email david@proofwright.ai to opt out. Opting out of texts does not unsubscribe you from email, and it does not affect any engagement. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not send text messages to numbers obtained from purchased, rented, or third-party lists, and we do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
Email
You can unsubscribe from the Field Notes newsletter or any other email at any time using the link in the message. Transactional email about an active engagement is not marketing and continues regardless.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to break the law, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to any system connected to it, to scrape it in a way that degrades it for others, or to impersonate anyone. We may block access for any of the above.
Intellectual property
The content on this site — writing, designs, code samples, and the ProofWright name and marks — belongs to us, and you may quote it with attribution but not republish it wholesale as your own. Ownership of anything we build for you under an engagement is set by that engagement’s written proposal, not by this page.
Third-party services
This site and our communications rely on third parties, including Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email), Twilio (text messaging), and Meta and Google (advertising and analytics). Their own terms govern their services, and we do not control sites we link to.
Disclaimer
This site and its content are provided as is, for general information. Articles, teardown material, and estimates published here are not professional, legal, tax, or financial advice, and results described are not a promise of the same outcome for you. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability arising out of your use of this site or our communications is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability for paid work is governed by the engagement’s written proposal.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Florida are the venue for any dispute.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above, and continuing to use the site or our messages after that date means you accept them.
